The 2020 Coachman Freelander has some great features for larger groups, families, or those that would like more space. Comfortable beds are important. There is a queen bed in the back bedroom with the all important door to close off from the rest of the RV. In addition to bedroom, there are bunk beds in the back hall, a comfortable pull out couch, the dining table that converts into a bed, and lastly, a “loft” bed that is my kids favorite! It is a huge King size bed that our kids use to sleep and play!
Next people usually wonder what the kitchen is like! Like most campers, the kitchen is small, but we found it to be the perfect size for camping life! There is a double sink, a microwave, a 3 burner stove, oven, decent size fridge/freezer and most importantly a little island for prep space!
Outside there is a BBQ available that uses propane right from the RV! While you are out there, how about watching that football game on the outdoor TV or a family movie night?
When you are taking a break from outside, there are 2 TV's to enjoy, radio, and even some board games!
RV bathrooms are far from glamorous, but it has a shower, sink and toilet. There is plenty of space for your toiletries and personal items. It is convenient for those late night bathroom runs, quick showers and if you are “boondocking” without campground hook-ups.
We have everything you need for your adventure!
Beds will have freshly washed mattress covers. We will have a bin of sheets, comforters, pillows, and towels at the walk through... you choose what you would like to use and what you would like to supply from home. From experience, most like to bring a little bit of home to the RV to ensure you are comfortable and have the pillow as firm or fluffy as you would like and kiddo's have their special blanket.
Kitchen is stocked with what our family had for our 100 day trip. There are pots and pans, crock pot, pasta strainer, can/bottle opener, small coffee pot, and cooking utensils. They are brought back to our house after each use, ran through the dishwasher and then stocked back in the RV ready to use. We have plates, utensils and cups for 6, but we find that most prefer to bring paper plates, plastic silverware, and solo cups to minimize meal clean up.
In storage outside the RV there is a small BBQ, BBQ utensils, picnic table, benches, clothes/towel rack, outdoor rug, and a few other misc. items to ensure you have a great camping experience perfect!
Beyond the perfect camper and all its extras, I absolutely LOVE trip planning. I can help you plan an itinerary, select campgrounds for your needs, and answer any and all questions to make sure your camping trip is flawless!
I use RVTripWizard for our trip planning and not only do I have our saved itinerary from last year, but 4 additional itineraries that are ready to go. During our 100 day trip last year we visited mostly Colorado and Utah, with some Arizona, New Mexico, Kansas and Arkansas sprinkled in. A trip closer to home to includes Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. A trip I am calling "Northern Us", includes Nebraska, Wyoming, Idaho, the Dakota's, Montana, and Minnesota. We have a "Northwest" trip planned including Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. And lastly, for our 2022 summer trip, we will be visiting most of the National Parks in California, but also taking our time driving out and back seeing all sorts of unique stuff along the way!
I would love to plan your perfect RV vacation and you never know, it may become one of our future trips too!
