We're a fun loving couple from Minnesota! Our first motorhome was a class c 1974 Brougham 18'. The water didn't work but the electric did, the ceiling was falling down, but it was still better than a tent! The old 360 2bbl and 4:11 gears had no problem with hills, and actually got close to 14mpg! We eventually found our 98 bounder 36s. Put nearly $10k into it, everything was working, and the tires were next on the list. Then in September of 23, someone from my neighborhood slammed into the rear DS corner. With a minivan, they moved the rv two feet, and it was sitting on the jacks. So, we are currently scouring the market to see what we can find. We have learned SO much about what is desirable and what to watch for, but when things are good, they are really good! I'll probably update this as things progress!
