My happy place is outside in the sunshine! I am an avid white water rafter, mountain biker, hiker and camper. I grew up backpacking most summer weekends with my family and I have a deep reverence for the outdoors. I am admit about leave-no-trace and tread-lightly. Our open spaces are such a glorious gift and each of us who get the privilege of enjoying them have a responsibility to take care of them. Yep, that means pick up trash even if it's not yours. When I travel, I always try to travel with an adventure. This year I got to go backpacking in Switzerland and run the Grand Canyon. Incredible! Weekends you'll find me outside on all but the coldest weekends. Fun fact, I grew up in Colorado but didn't learn to sky until I was 30. :)
